Damnation, the highly-anticipated steam-punk themed vertical shooter from Codemasters, has been dated for May 22, 2009 and will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. To celebrate the confirmed release, Codemasters has released a new “Levels & Environments” video unveiling Damnation’s incredible scale of open-world vertical levels and features developer commentary from Blue Omega’s Jacob Minkoff who offers insight into how Blue Omega created such awe-inspiring game environments.

The latest trailer for Overlord Minions for the DS.

Everyone’s favorite, devilish and hilarious creatures are making their handheld debut with Overlord Minions! Codemasters has just released a new trailer featuring “Stench,” “Blaze,” “Zap” and “Giblet” - four of the most mischievous, malevolent and manic minions hand-picked for this new puzzle action game, designed exclusively for Nintendo DS (ESRB E10+).

Gameplay footage in the video showcases the precise touch screen commands with player-as-Overlord directing, commanding and combining minions in battle, pointing and sweeping them to attack enemies and solving puzzles to execute dastardly plans.

Killscreen’s tag line is “Where jock meets nerd”.  This is more along the lines of where dork meets nerd and then they have a kid who plays with a Super Mario Rubik’s cube. Comes from Geeky Gadgets.

Our field correspondent, Ian Wolterstorff, was invited to the back lots of Universal Studios for a first look at the game Wanted: Weapons of Fate. Afterwards, he hitched a ride on a golf cart with Pete Wanat, execute producer of the game, and was able to get an inside scoop on the creative process. Wanted was released this past Tuesday, the 24th of March.
